The Assistant Senior Patrol Leader
- 2nd highest junior leader in the troop
- reports to the SPL
- appointed by the SPL
- provides leadership to other junior leaders
- member of the PLC
Assistant Senior Patrol Leader Duties:
- helps SPL lead meetings and activities
- acts as the SPL when SPL is absent
- leads the special teams including troop scribe, quartermaster, adventure guide, librarian
and historian
- helps train and supervise special teams
- serves as a member of the Patrol Leaders’ Council
And as with all other Junior Leaders
- Sets a good example
- Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly
- Lives by the Scout Oath and Law
- Shows Scout spirit
