The Troop Historian/Reporter
- reports to the ASPL
- is appointed by SALT
Responsibilities
- gathers pictures and facts about past troop activities
- keeps troop historical file and/or scrapbook
- acts as the troop reporter, submitting stories and photos to the local newspaper
- cares for troop trophies, ribbons, souvenirs
- keeps information about former troop members
- cares for display case at troop meeting location
- cares for troop flags
And as with all other Junior Leaders
- Sets a good example
- Enthusiastically wears the Scout uniform correctly
- Lives by the Scout Oath and Law
- Shows Scout spirit
